Every Stat version update requires a complete reinstall and reconfiguration of the Central Agent(s). This includes minor "dot dot" versions; e.g. 5.8.0 > 5.8.1. The current upgrade process is burdensome needs improvement. The current process is especially onerous when one maintains multiple Central Agents on a single host.
An improved upgrade experience should:
1) Replace the Central Agent files while leaving the existing configuration in place.
2) Accommodate multiple Central Agent instances.
