Sykehuspartner is the result of a lot of IT departments from different hospitals in Norway that have been put together in a new company, and we service all the hospitals with IT services. We were consolidated from a lot of different IT departments from all the different hospitals, so we had a lot of different systems. We had five different identity management solutions.
Our main goal is, of course, to protect the patient information that we have. That's the critical factor. So we have to ensure that only the right people see the necessary data for patients. So we needed a modern, new platform that we could assure the quality of the identities and the information to all the systems we need to provision to.
It's flexible and it covers our needs. We can do development easily. Its a single system to maintain. We have to be sure that we have the correct identities and information about the personel that work [INAUDIBLE] the hospitals, so they have the right to access at the right time.
We've been very satisfied with the quick development of new connectors and integration of all the systems. So it's a sort of starting [INAUDIBLE] for all of our other IAM products that we need for federation and other accesses and provides a full [INAUDIBLE].
So we've automated some of our major systems, electronic health record systems. That's our sort of core system. That's been automated up to 90% so automatic provisioning for not only users and identities, but also roles and access. So it's eases the burden on the IT department so we can do other things and ensure higher quality in other aspects of the business.
