I tried two ways to save all email attachments by using them you can save attachments to your Local computer at your desired location. The first method I didn't think will be simple because it is very hard and time-consuming to open each email and download the attachments one by one. And when you have 1000s of emails and then every single email contains multiple attachments then I didn't think that anyone use this method.
Now comes the second method which is very useful because I tried it also like the manual method. So I used a third-party software name Softaken IMAP Attachment Extractor Software. This is a very easy-to-use tool and can help you (like it did mine) download attachments from any IMAP or Email server in a few easy and simple clicks.
To use this Extractor tool, you just need to follow these simple steps:
1. First of all make a new folder and then move all emails that you want to extract attachments from them.
2. Now download and install the IMAP Attachment Extractor software on your computer.
3. Launch the tool.
4. Now Enter your IMAP account details according to what he asked, these details are only for authentication and are not shared with anyone.
5. Now choose the folder that you make in the starting process.
6. Afterward, Select a specific location for saving those attachments on your computer.
7. At the end hit the Extract button and the extraction process will start.
That's it! You have successfully saved your Email attachments on your local computer using this great tool. You can now access them anytime on your computer and if you upload that folder on a cloud service like Google Drive,etc. then you can access your attachments from anywhere and anytime.
