Rapid Recovery core not accessing license portal via proxy server. Why would this just start happening? It just started bypassing the proxy and going straight out all on its own.
1) The license portal's TLS version was modified, so the older AA cores (I know you mentioned Rapid Recovery) will no longer connect without the appropriate patches, however RR cores should be unaffected: support.quest.com/.../235006
2) The license portal no longer sits at a static IP address, so if you had specific firewall rules to connect to it, they need to be updated to point to: services.licenseportal.com
I'd guess that one of those 2 items would be what the culprit is.
RR is the current version. I have never needed a firewall entry for it because it was going to the proxy. Now it isnt. no changes have been made to our network or RR. Are there settings to point it to the proxy?
I called Tech services and they said there is no way to point them to the proxy. If it was before, why would it change?
