How to fix the "cannot protect Recovery and EFI volumes" issue on GPT volumes (190346)

You are protecting a server with several partitions on Hard Disk 0. You note that RapidRecovery agent has detected both the Recovery volume and the EFI one. However they show no data in the RapidRecovery GUI cannot be added to a protection schedule. For instance, when attempting to protect the EFI partrition you get a message stating that \\.\HardDiskVolume2 is not available. Other volumes can be protected and do backup properly.
