The KACE Cloud Mobile Device Manager team is proud to announce the completion of the third quarter, calendar year 2018 product enhancements, which consisted of three specific product updates. These updates are live in the product now and available to all customers in supported regions immediately.
.With the latest release of KACE Cloud MDM, you gain:
- Enhanced management capabilities: Customers can already use KACE MDM to manage users, devices, settings and configurations for mobile devices. But now, with the latest update, users can also manage paid-for applications for both iOS and Android devices.
- Easy Adoption - KACE Cloud MDM makes it easy for customers to adopt. Simply import familiar profiles from Apple Configurator 2 or any other MDM solution (which supports exporting of profiles) into KCMDM and deploy these profiles witlessly within minutes.
- Regional EMEA Data – An EMEA instance of KACE Cloud MDM has been stood up for European customers who have elevated security or regulations, and who require there data reside regionally.
New Features:
- iOS Profile Management – Continue to use your iOS profiles in Apple Configurator 2 and import them into KACE Cloud MDM.
- Apple Purchase Program (VPP) / Android Paid Apps - Manage paid-for applications easily and cost effectively. Purchase the licenses you need and manage the allocation to your users.
- New European Instance – GDPR has introduced data privacy restrictions that can levy large fines if not correctly followed. EMEA customer can now gain confidence and peace of mind that data resides regionally within Europe, while improving device performance for European users thanks to the new, localized EMEA instance.
