We’re excited to announce general availability of Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition 8.8. It includes enhancements to help customers calculate true on-premises and cloud-based datacenter costs, determine possible cost savings for moving to the cloud, and analyze your current cloud costs and utilization to derive a cost-benefit analysis.
This latest version of Foglight also supports Microsoft and VMware hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) platforms, expands its storage array support, adding EMC VPLEX, and simplifies SLA management. And you get a tech preview of the new Container Management product, which helps customers avoid performance bottlenecks and recover wasted compute resources across CPU, memory and storage. The Technical Preview support Kubernetes and Docker Swarm. As part of the Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition 8.8, release, Quest is also releasing Foglight Hybrid Cloud Manager 3.0, Capacity Director 2.2 and Foglight for Storage Management 4.6.
