Re-ACL : Unable to update children of item XXXX

We are receiving the following error when trying to RE-ACL several users.

Anyone have experience of this? Spanish language user.

The depth s too long, there is a limit, 260

How common is this? One off, just move the 200ish folder to the root and process again. Common, I don’t know off had, but there is a place to set the directory’s to skip \windows is one of these. I don’t have access to an installation to look at it. But there is another option.
