Hope you are keeping well.
I have a strange issue since last Friday where some users migrated to EXO (we are currently doing a 365 rollout in the Company) end up, out of nowhere, with 2 mailboxes activated.
So, trying to be clear, in Exchange on prem, user mailbox type is Office 365 and all is well, mails are going to his EXO mailbox.
But out of nowhere, for a few of them, the On Prem Mbx change back to User as mailbox type, effectively creating a second empty mailbox for the user. Emails are going to that mailbox of course...
That was wrecking my head, and I think I just found the culprit, as whatever I do to fix it, it keeps reverting back within minutes.
These users were part of another migration last year, and of course, I used Quest AD, and Quest MM. AD sync is still on as we sync passwords, but looks like this also sync the TargetAddress attribute.
Basically, if I stop the client, whatever TargetAddress I set, stays, so issue seems to be Quest. Now, why it happens now, no ideas, but this is where we are
So, now that you know everything, here is the question. How do I stop the attributes sync? At least, all the exchange ones, as TargetAddress is a service attribute, and greyed out in the config. All I want really, is to sync the passwords, everything else is not needed anymore.
Any How to, or pointers? I am using QMMAD 8.14
