Issues with CACHE CREDENTIAL UTILITY @DELL MM FOR AD

Hello guys,

Hope you guys are doing well,

So here is the thing, Project is AD Integration b/w two different domains/forests; DONE: User A/c Migration; Done: Desktop Computer A/C Migration "Current: Remote Comp A/C over VPN"

Project Status: I am currently migrating Remote computers over VPN using Cache credential utility 8.13, Remote Users are connected to corporate network through VPN to access files and folders over the network.

Problem:- Configured the CCU exactly the same way DELL MM for AD mentioned in the documentation. I have kept the VM OVER files on the same server where i have DELL AD MM installed which is indeed a target domain. I have copied the Setup.msi and run this from remote computer, CCU asks for password and when the user enters the target domain password, it does restart couple of times but not doing the processing task because of which user profile not getting migrated to target domain. I cant see any of his files/or his personal stuff, so i came to a conclusion that move is success but not processing task? i mean it creates a new profile with username.targetdomain,

I kind of stuck here, no way forward and backward any help/ suggestion is very much appreciated. i am attaching the vmover.ini file and others which i feel is the culprit for this issue.

Note: For some reason whichever way i generate the vmover.ini i can see blanks for ldapusr and ldappsw, all the user A/c are already migrated prior to computer ac migration

  • If anyone of you guys facing the same issue then answer lies in enabling firewall ports for effective communication between target server(i.e where the QMM installed) and remote desktop machine which is connected to corporate network through software VPN.
Note:- Don't forget to check the option of "Migrate without using the agents" in RUM while generating the .ini file

    Thank you.
