Issue on Migrating home.aspx/default.aspx

Hi,

We would like to raise a concern regarding migration of site contents.

It happen we do not want to include the home.aspx page (located in Sitepages folder) in migration as we do not want to overwrite the existing homepage on the target. We have tried adding filter to exclude the home.aspx items/page but when we try to do migration, it deleted the home.aspx page in the target. Is there any specific configuration we should do to make it happen? Please advise.

    If you filter the home.apsx the software will still try to copy overwrite SitePages library and it it does and then tries to migration the contents, it will skip the home.aspx.

    I recommend to filter on the SitePages libraries itself so it is not copied therefore not overwriting on the target.
