User Mappings

Hi - Not sure if this can be achieved via transformation or import mappings from xml.

Source(sp2010) -> domain\john1234

Target(O365) -> johnson.smith@company.com i.e. firstname.lastname@company.com

Do we have any predefined way to accomplish this ?

Thank you for your time.

  • This can be achieved with user mapping file which is a specific user mapping, namely for each user at source you would map a user at target.

    Alternatively, the user mapping transformer could be adjusted so it would grab the email from the source user and apply it to the claims format of the target O365. This is easier for 45k users..
