Same-site/app mass metadata tagging?

As per a topic one of my colleagues previously posted (metalogix.force.com/.../convert-lookup-type-column-to-managed-metadata-type), we can convert columns to metadata during the migration. My question is, can Content Matrix be used for column conversion after the migration is done? If not, are there options available outside of manual tagging?

    Hi Lawrence,

     

    Content Matrix can only transform columns to managed metadata during migration.

     

    If you want to manually transform lookup columns to managed metadata after migration, you can create a new managed metadata column and copy value from lookup columns to the new managed metadata column.
