How can I speed up the migration from 2010 to 2016

I am migrating from SharePoint 2010 (On-prem) to SharePoint 2016 (On-prem). I have the Content Matrix console installed on a WFE in the new target SharePoint 2016 environment and installed the MEWS connectors on the source SharePoint Environment. It's taking quite a while to migrate site collections (Currently have migrated 14gbs in approximately 28 hours.) Just wondering what I can do to speed this up. The machine running the content matrix console has 4 cores and 20 gbs of ram, only 50% cpu is being used and approx 60% ram being used so it's not that. Any suggestions on how to speed up the migration? Thanks, Shan
