It is possible that the default port (8228) of the Archive Manager Search service is being used by another application. You may do the following to resolve the issue:
1. Run the netstat command to check which application is using port 8228.
Use Netstat to See Listening Ports and PID in Windows
2. Change the port on the following config files:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Metalogix\MAMSearch\PamSearch.exe.config
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\PAM\Services\PamPostProcessingSv\PAMPostProcessingSv.exe.config
C:\Program Files (x86)\Metalogix\MAM4Exchange\Web\ExchangePamWS\Web.config
C:\Program Files\Metalogix\ArchiveWeb\Web.config
3. Restart the following services:
MAM Search
MAM Post-processing
IIS
