I recently upgraded to an AI PC and I’m excited about the performance boost it offers for my workflow. However, I’ve run into a bit of a snag while trying to use Quest Software (specifically, Toad for Oracle) on this new setup.
Here’s the situation:
After installing Toad for Oracle on my AI PC, I noticed that some features aren’t functioning as expected. For example, the query optimization tool seems to lag, and the automation scripts I rely on are running slower than they did on my older machine. I’m not sure if this is due to compatibility issues with the AI-driven hardware or if there’s a setting I need to adjust.
Has anyone else here used Quest Software on an AI PC? If so, did you encounter similar issues? Are there any specific configurations or updates I should be aware of to ensure everything runs smoothly?
For context, my AI PC has an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) alongside a high-end CPU and GPU, and I’m running the latest version of Windows 11. I’ve already checked for updates for Toad for Oracle, but I’m wondering if there’s something else I’m missing.
