Facing Some Issues with i7 Laptop and Quest Product. Any Advice?

I’ve been experiencing some problems while using my i7 laptop with a Quest product and was hoping to get some advice or solutions from the community.

Here’s what I’m dealing with:

  • Laptop Specs: Intel Core i7 laptop with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.
  • Quest Product: Quest KACE Systems Management Appliance (Version 12.0)

The Issues:

  1. Slow Performance: The Quest KACE application seems to be running slow on my system, with delays in loading data and reports.
  2. Connectivity Problems: I’m encountering intermittent connectivity issues between the KACE system and other devices on my network.
  3. High Resource Usage: The software appears to be consuming a lot of CPU and memory, causing the laptop to heat up and affect overall performance.

Steps I’ve Taken:

  • Updated both the laptop drivers and the Quest KACE software to the latest version.
  • Verified network settings and tried different configurations.
  • Ran diagnostics on the laptop to rule out hardware issues.
