Upgrade from 5.7.1 to 5.7.5.8 fails to upgrade data base. Foglight will not start.

I am trying to upgrade to Foglight for Virtualization EE version 8.6 but I am getting a Database Upgrade Error Occured. The install completes but Fog light will not start. I have tried to upgrade the DB manually with the  foglight_db_upgrade.bat file but it also fails with a "Login failed for user '' 

 

Need help upgrading this version 

 

3 Windows 2012 servers:

FMS Server

Agent Server

MS SQL Server

    Hello Carlos,

     

    if you have a backup, you can restore it and try the upgrade again.

    Also instead of going direct from 5.7.1 to 5.7.5.8 you can do a step inbetween and upgrade to 5.7.5 first before upgrading to 5.7.5.8.

     

    If that does not help, please raise a service request to investigate the issue further.

    You can create a service request here. Once you created the service request please attach the FMS support bundle (creation steps are here).
