Clustered Services Monitoring

Hi,

I have several instances of windows clusters, but I was looking for some advice on how to get them monitored if a cluster was to go or have issues.

Currently, we're monitoring the services for the cluster at a Host level, but since it is an active/passive situation, the services for the passive host alarms as if they are having issues because the services are not active.

I had previously setup the cluster name at a host level with monitoring of the services, but this caused topology churning issues. Are their any recommendations on how to monitor windows cluster services in an active/passive situation?

Thanks for any advice,

Jason
