Can the 'purpose' of a view be edited?

Issue: If I create a new view from the configuration->definitions section, I am able to set the 'purpose' to include many options: dashboard, pagelet, portal, protlet, home page, etc. This is the panel:

 
Can I edit this "purpose" once the view is created on the web GUI? If so, please share screenshot of how.

    Oscar,
    I cannot see your screenshot.  If the view was created on a drag-drop dashboard, you cannot edit the purpose. 

    If the View was created in the WCF editor Configuration | Definitions, then just select the view and click Edit.  The use the Purpose drop-down to select.
