Issue in adding Manager LDAP parameter

Hi All,

I am having problem creating a parameter. I am trying to create a report for all service accounts that have no Description and no Manager.

The LDAP attribute of Manager is Manager but in ER I can only see Managed By and not Manager, I thought 'Managed By' will work but it is not showing anything in the report.

If I need to include the Manager field to include in the report, what is the way ?

Thanks,
Parents
  • In order to achieve this you will have to link fields from the Active Directory collection. The Managed By field is only collected with Active Directory not in the Computer discovery. Please refer to section "Modifying the fields to be Included" in the Report Manager user guide. support.quest.com/.../20

Once you have added the Managed By field to the report you will then be able to create a hidden parameter and use the "Has a Value" operator with default value of "No". This will filter and shows only services where the service account has no description and no manager.

    Hope this helps.
