When is support for MS SQL 2022 available?

Is it already known when SQL Server 2022 support can be expected?

Thank you for reaching the ApexSQL Forum.

We are currently still working on this compatibility and implementation.

I am glad to share with you that the first set of ApexSQL tools compatible with SQL 2022 is expected to be available in May 2024 and they will be:

• ApexSQL Build
• Doc
• Source Control
• Unit Test 

We primarily use ApexSQL Data Diff & ApexSQL Script.  Will those be upgraded soon to SQL 2022 as well?

Unfortunately, no. These products are now in end of life. No more updates will be issued for them, but they will have support until 12/31/2025 as stated in the previous reply. These products are part of the ApexSQL Compare and Sync bundle. 

We encourage you download and try Toad for SQL Server. 

ApexSQL Script is part of the ApexSQL DevOps Toolkit for SQL Server.  Is the DevOps Tookit also being discontinued?  If not, are there planned updates for those tools?

but ApexSQL Diff is part of ApexSQL Source Control tool . Will you replace the diff tool built in Source Control tool too?

Or how can i switch the diff tool found in Source Control tool to another diff tool (other that ApexSQL Diff)?

I have now an sql server 2022 and when running my cd plan, i receive the error: "Microsoft SQL Server 2022 or higher is not supported in this version of ApexSQL Diff".

Any news on an ETA for the ApexSql Doc upgrade for SQL 2022 compatibility?  I realize your earlier posts said that you would let us know, but it is helpful to get updates as I need to report to other people.

Any information would be helpful.

any news about Apex Source Control for sql server 2022? Do you guys have an ETA for this? We are completely blocked and we cannot use our Apex Source Control with servers on sql server 2022. We payed the license in feb this year and we cannot use the tool because we have a clear, fixed schedule for upgrading to sql 2022 ongoing.

So, an ETA on this will be appreciated, as management is asking monthly about updates on this situation.
