[MUSIC PLAYING] My name is Christopher Schuetze. I work at the Devoteam. We are an international company with more than 5,000 employees. And my role is principal consultant. And I'm responsible for several big customers, and 1,000 of Germany.
Companies use the cloud, and all the difficulties you have with the local, on-premise application is also part of your cloud strategy. The biggest problem that our customers have is they need to ensure-- just think about the automotive branch-- that their data is secured. That nobody has access to the important development stuff, where they are working on strategies for the next few years.
And we as a consultancy agency have to ensure that their data secured, and only to persons who are allowed to have access to that data. A good path for success was really to have a first overview over your company. Where are the risk data stores? Where are the risky people who have access to this data?
And then, for example, we can use external consultancies to create such overview of your company. And then you should really use this to find a good solution to protect your data. We use One Identity because we as a Devoteam have a single window strategy. But we decided not only, yes, we use One Identity, we had an internal audit check which tool is the best for us and for our customers.
The human interaction to the partner program and to the people itself at One Identity and at the Devoteam are very important in that topic. And our customers know that, and they like it very much that we have a trustworthy relationship to One Identity.
One Identity Manager is an important product for our customers, because they need processes to audit permissions and to provision them in the target system, and therefore they also need policies, attestation workflows, and easy steps for their end users to use the self-service. This is so important for modern companies.
Just think about the password reset, for example. If you have 1,000 a year, it takes almost five to 10 minutes to do that technically. And if you do this by self-service, this is really a benefit also in a financial way.
Being a partner of One Identity is really valuable for you. You have the possibility to have direct access to news, product releases, documentations. You have a direct connection to the support if there is some issue. Or even if you have some problems with finding the right solution, you have the possibility to ask with some steps between the developer of the stuff. That's really valuable for us to use it.
