Aims to Strengthen Traction in the Region with Appointments of Bekim Protopapa as Vice President North America and Eric Morin as Senior Director, Channels and Alliances
New York, September 6, 2017 - Balabit, a leading provider of Privileged Access Management solutions, today announced two executive hires, who are joining the company to accelerate the growth of its North American operations and sales channel.
Bekim Protopapa joins the company as Vice President North America, leading all customer-facing operations in North America and building upon existing success and traction in the region, including with U.S. customers like Adobe, which leverages Balabit’s solutions to meet its compliance and internal security requirements.
Eric Morin joins as Senior Director, Channels and Alliances, focusing on building the channel, including resellers (VARs), system integrators, service providers and strategic technology partners.
Bekim has spent 20 years in leadership roles at companies within the security, networking and unified communications sectors. He brings domain experience scaling both private and public IT security technology companies, including Mimecast, where he was General Manager for North America, and Blue Coat Systems, where he was Vice President of Sales for Americas.
Eric brings 17 years of experience managing partnerships and alliances in the IT security and networking industries. Prior to joining Balabit, he was the Director of Alliances and Channel Sales at CipherCloud, and has also held leadership roles within channel sales at Silver Peak Systems and Blue Coat Systems.
